All Things Johnston

It is hard to believe my boys are now 5 and 7. Next year they will BOTH be in elementary school. Aaaack. I'm getting old! Here are a few photos from their recent birthday celebrations.

Since Jake's birthday fell on the Saturday of General Conference we had an early morning pajama party and served pancakes. The kids also had a Lego building competition and played musical pillows. Very low key and fun for everyone.


Luke decided to have a Batman party. They played "Pin the Bat on Batman" and "Find the Joker" (a little scavenger hunt for some pictures of the Joker in the backyard). The favorite game had to be the Batman training course. We decided to incorporate the massive amount of leaves that had fallen in the backyard and Aaron raked them to form a path. Luke and Jake placed some "obstacles" that had to be jumped over. The boys took turns wearing a batman cape and running through the course as fast as they could. It was a hit.
